These prices include already all taxes and fees, the basic (mandatory) insurance, free second driver, free mileage, a detailed Costa Rican road map, and plenty of hints and tips for your trip. There is an additional charge of US$4 per day for each driver under the age of 25 years. NO HIDDEN CHARGES WHATSOEVER!!
Insurance options
Basic Insurance
The basic (mandatory) insurance is already included in our rental rates. It
covers in case of collision and damages to the rented vehicle and to third parties
and property (CDW). The deductible in case of damages and accidents is US$900
for the Terios, US$1.200 for the Terios BEGO and US$1.400 for the Toyota RAV4
and Hyundai Tucson.
Supplemental Insurance with Zero Deductible (optional)
This optional Supplemental Insurance gives you a full cover with zero deductible in case of accident or theft. This insurance is only available for a minimum rental period of three days or longer and a minimum age of 25. The cost for this insurance is:

Restrictions on Supplemental Insurance with Zero Deductible
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Accidents or damages caused by reckless driving.
Driving along areas inaccessible to cars (rivers, beaches, swamps).
The car being driven by someone who is not authorized under the rental contract terms.
Loss of keys, tools, detachable radio front panel, rubber mats.
Traffic infractions
Assistance or travel expenses in case of damaged tires, broken windows, lost keys, discharged batteries (leaving the lights on)
Towing or rescue expenses and expenses for car exchange in case of accident;
Safety Deposit
For your rental car, you must leave a safety deposit during the time of rental
via a signed credit card voucher. The amount of the safety deposit is US$750
for the Suzuki Samurai, $900 for the Daihatsu Terios, $1.200 for the Daihatsu
Bego and US$1.400 for Toyota RAV4 or Huyndai Tucson.
